UTILITY SERVICES AGAIN SURPRISED BY SNOW

Communal Inspectorate of Municipality of Palilula visited the settlements in the municipality in order to analyze traffic mobility and found that most of the street is not cleaned of snow.According to Boban Džunić, president of municipality of Palilula, the main problem is to prioritize the cleaning of streets, where the territory of the municipality is generally classified in the second and third priority. It is necessary that some roads in Palilula belong to the first category of the importance for utility.
"We visited approach to Durmitorska street of Rudnička street to end with both sides, and none of them are cleaned. There are also Kalač Brdo, Bubanj, we went to the Donje and Gornje Medjurovo. In addition that the snow is not cleaned at this locations, at the time of our tour, we did not see even one worker from utility company. Our utility services of the municipality are working in full force, it is made up of seven inspectors that were on the field and visited the main roads in the surrounding settlements. The streets traversed by buses were mostly cleared, but part of the street Petar Randjelovic, from Dimitrija Tucovica street to the street Bubanjski heroji was not cleaned. It can be seen that the salt was cast, but the snow is not cleaned, "said Lelica Miladinovic, municipal inspector in Palilula.
Palilula citizens are very dissatisfied with street cleaning in the settlements. Sidewalks are untreated, especially in the Dimitrija Tucovica Street, both sides, from the train station to the Ledena Stena. A portion of the park near the railway station is not cleaned, says Miladinovic, adding that citizens were mainly accountable and cleaned the driveways in front of their houses.
President of Municipality Boban Džunić says that many of its residents appealed to and critique the municipal inspection departments of not responding to their claims, but the service of the municipality is on the field every day from morning to the evening. "They noticed exactly what the citizens report to our office for quick answers for some of the roads in Palilula that are not cleaned for days. "I held an emergency meeting with the team Utilities inspection. We sent a request to the competent enterprises to get down to business. Communal Inspectorate of Palilula proceeded in this case according to the law and no one will be exempt of responsibility, stressed President Džunić. There were plenty of time to prepare for winter. Our citizens are a priority for all of us.
Our goal and commitment is to have good cooperation with all relevant local institutions. During the last two months, we sent a letter of warning to utility services, because we did not want to process twenty complaint applications that have already been prepared, says president of Municipality. I hereby ask them to do what they are responsible to do, because citizens are unhappy and there are many objections to the work of utilities. If our utility inspection is doing its job according to the law, we will be seeking the same from our utility companies - said Boban Džunić, president of Municipalit , adding that roads in Palilula should not be in the second and third priority categor , but classified into the first category and priority of cleaning. Palilula is the municipality in which there are more than 80,000 people and they all meet the obligations in terms of paying for utility costs.
